If there is any inconsistency between a standard condition and any additional condition in this environmental authority, the additional condition prevails to the extent of any inconsistency.

Disturbance Despite condition A13 of the `Eligibility criteria and standard conditions for exploration and mineral authorised to undertake exploration activities within a Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) in accordance with Table 1: Authorised disturbance within a Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area and as illustrated in Figure 1.

Despite condition A13 of the `Eligibility criteria and standard conditions for exploration and mineral authorised to undertake exploration activities within 500m of a Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) in accordance with Table 2: Authorised disturbance within 500m of a Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area and as illustrated in Figure 1. Any disturbance carried out on a previous Environmental Authority relating to EPC1454 must be rehabilitated in accordance with the Eligibility criteria and standard conditions for exploration and

Nature Conservation The holder of the environmental authority must not carry out exploration activities in a Category A Environmentally Sensitive Area. Exploration activities involving machinery must not be carried out within 1km of a Category A Environmentally Sensitive Area. Prior to carrying out exploration activities in a Category C Environmentally Sensitive Area, the holder of this environmental authority must consult with the administering authority. If it is determined through the consultation that additional conditions are necessary, the holder must comply with those conditions.

Significant residual impacts to prescribed environmental matters are not authorised under this environmental authority.

Roads and Tracks The environmental authority holder must use existing access and fence line tracks as far as practicable.

Any disturbance carried out in, or within 500 metres of Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area, must be recorded with GPS, and records kept of the location/s. The records must be made available to the administering authority on request.

Rehabilitation Rehabilitation of exploration activities within a Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area must be completed as soon as practicable, but no longer than three (3) months after completion of the disturbance activity.

Rehabilitation of exploration activities within any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area must be revegetated with plant species that will promote the same vegetation type and density of cover to the pre-existing land.

Reporting An annual report must be prepared each year and submitted with each annual return. The report must include a map identifying all exploration activities undertaken to date on EPC1454. The map must clearly distinguish between proposed, completed and rehabilitated exploration activities to demonstrate compliance with this environmental authority. Permit Environmental authority - P-EA-100206549 Definitions Where a definition for a term used in this environmental authority is sought, the definitions in the document Eligibility criteria and standard conditions for exploration and mineral development projects and the definitions in the Environmental Protection Act 1994, its regulations and policies must be used. `disturbance' means the action or interference of altering the natural state or pre-existing land use of any area by carrying out an activity associated with the exploration project. `commencement' means the act or fact of commencing; beginning. `exploration activities' means mining activities permitted under an environmental authority that allows the holder to: (a) determine the existence, quality and quantity of minerals; (b) evaluate the potential for development of the mineral resource; (c) mining and engineering feasibility studies; and (d) includes camp sites `GPS' means global positioning system. `land use' means the use of the land prior to the commencement of exploration activities authorised under this environmental authority. `m' means metres. `rehabilitation' means `rehabilitation processes' as defined by the `Eligibility criteria and standard conditions `tracks' means roads, tracks or paths, greater than ten (10) metres in length, that has been fully stripped of all vegetation to enable the progress of vehicles, equipment or pedestrians. Key terms and/or phrases used in this document are defined in this section. Where a term is not defined, the definition in the Environmental Protection Act 1994, its regulations or environmental protection policies must be used.
