The environmental authority does not take effect until the grant of the tenure to the environmental authority holder, or until each environmental authority holder has become a holder, under the Mineral Resources Act 1989, of each of relevant mining tenements.

The conditions of this environmental authority are in force until a surrender of the authority is accepted pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1994. The conditions apply unless an amendment is approved pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1994.

The environmental authority holder is to give the administering authority a financial assurance in the amount and form and at a time required by the administering authority.

Notwithstanding condition 13 of the Code of Environmental Compliance for Exploration and Mineral Development Projects, the holder of this environmental authority is permitted to conduct low impact exploration activities by hand including rock chip, soils and stream sediment sampling within 1 kilometre of, but not within, the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area or Ngalba Bulal National Park (Category A Environmentally Sensitive Area).

Notwithstanding condition 13 of the Code of Environmental Compliance for Exploration and Mineral Development Projects, the holder of this environmental authority is permitted to conduct low impact exploration activities by hand including rock chip, soils and stream sediment sampling within 500 metres of, but not within, the Endangered Remnant Regional Ecosystem (Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area).

The holder of this environmental authority is not permitted to conduct exploration activities within the Monkhouse Timber Reserve (Category C Environmentally Sensitive Area) without prior consultation is determined through the consultation that additional conditions are necessary, the holder must comply with those conditions.
