The environmental authority holder is authorised, subject to conditions B2 to B4, to carry out exploration activities on the relevant tenement within 500m of endangered regional ecosystems (EREs). Note: EREs are Category B environmentally sensitive areas as defined in Schedule 19, Part 1 of Environmental Protection Regulation 2019.

Activities within 500m of ERE Activities within 500m of an ERE, as permitted by condition B1, must only be carried out at locations specified in Figure 1: Exploration and drilling locations on MDL303, Figure 2a: Proposed exploration drilling program location (northern portion of MDL303) and Figure 2b: Proposed exploration drilling program location (southern portion of MDL303).

Exploration drilling conducted within 500m of an ERE, must not exceed an area of 1000m2, at any location specified in Figure 1: Exploration and drilling locations on MDL303, Figure 2a: Proposed exploration drilling program location (northern portion of MDL303) and Figure 2b: Proposed exploration drilling program location (southern portion of MDL303) unless authorised by condition B4 of this EA.

Notwithstanding historical activity, from 12 February 2025 the holder of this environmental authority is authorised to conduct a single drill pad not exceeding 4900m2 in the location depicted as Approved Lateral Drill Pad Location in Figure 1: Exploration and drilling locations on MDL303 within 500m of an ERE. This drill pad must be in accordance with Figure 3: Layout of lateral drill pad for drift exploration on MDL303 and not contain more than three (3) drill holes.

Disturbance as a result of proposed access tracks among drill pads must be minimised including where possible slashed or stick raked (as opposed to cleared). OFFICIAL Permit Environmental authority

Rehabilitation Rehabilitation of disturbance within 500m of EREs must be completed as soon as practicable, but no longer than three (3) months after completion of the disturbance activity.

All land subject to exploration activities must be rehabilitated within six (6) months of concluding exploration activities at each drill site to a non-polluting, safe, stable and self-sustaining landform.

Annual reporting An annual report must be prepared each year and submitted to the administering authority with each annual return. The report must include a map identifying all exploration activities undertaken to date on Mineral Development Licence 303. The map is to clearly distinguish between proposed, completed and rehabilitated activities to demonstrate compliance with this environmental authority. Where a term is not defined, the definition in the Environmental Protection Act 1994, its regulations or environmental protection policies must be used. If a word remains undefined it has its ordinary meaning. Activity means the environmentally relevant activities under the Environmental Protection Regulation 2008, whether resource activities or prescribed activities, to which the environmental authority relates. successor or predecessors. Contaminant A contaminant can be -- a) a gas, liquid or solid;, or b) an odour; or c) an organism (whether alive or dead), including a virus; or d) energy, including noise, heat, radioactivity and electromagnetic radiation; or e) a combination of contaminants. Disturbance means any area that has had its natural state altered by the action or interference of carrying out an activity associated with the mining project. Environmental authority means an environmental authority under Chapter 5 of the Environmental Protection Act 1994. Environmental authority holder means the holder of this environmental authority. Exploration activities are mining activities permitted under an environmental authority, that allows the holder to: a) determine the existence, quality and quantity of minerals; b) evaluate the potential for development of the mineral resource; c) determine mining and engineering feasibility studies; and d) other activities approved by the Minister. Waters includes river, stream, lake, lagoon, pond, swamp, wetland, unconfined surface water, unconfined water, natural or artificial watercourse, bed and bank of any waters, dams, non-tidal or tidal waters (including the sea), stormwater channel, stormwater drain and groundwater and any part thereof. Watercourse means a watercourse as defined under the Water Act 2000. You means the holder of the environmental authority.
