The conditions of this environmental authority are in force until a surrender of the authority is accepted pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1994. The conditions apply unless an amendment is approved pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1994.

The environmental authority holder is to give the administering authority a financial assurance in the amount and form and at a time required by the administering authority.

The environmental authority holder must comply with each of the Standard Environmental Conditions contained in the Code of Environmental Compliance for Exploration and Mineral Development Projects dated January 2007. Activities involving machinery must not be carried out within 1km of a category A environmentally sensitive area or within 500m of category B environmentally sensitive area. Prior to carrying out activities in a category C environmentally sensitive area, consult with the relevant administering authority and the Environmental Protection Agency. If it is determined through the consultation that additional conditions are necessary, the holder must comply with those conditions.

The environmental authority holder is authorised to carry out activities within 500m of the endangered regional ecosystems and in the endangered regional ecosystems..” ? Condition B1 is an additional condition that overrides Standard Environmental Condition (SEC)13 to the extent that SEC 13 prohibits the holder of the environmental authority carrying out activities within an endangered regional ecosystem (Category B) environmentally sensitive area.

| Where carrying out activities in endangered regional ecosystems as permitted by B1 the environmental authority holder must do so in accordance with the undertakings in the document entitled “Supporting Information to application for Standard Environmental Authority — Request to carry out activities in endangered regional ecosystems” signed by the holder on 21/11/2001.

The environmental authority holder must ensure that track intensity in the areas identified as having an endangered regional ecosystem does not exceed 1:500m (one track intersecting on each 500m grid) and must ensure minimal vegetation disturbance.

The environmental authority holder must consult with the Environment Protection Agency prior to ~ commencing rehabilitation to determine a seed mix that will be appropriate for the region.
