    If a ‘valid from’ date is not stated on this document, the environmental authority (transfer) takes effect when each of the environmental authority holders has become a holder of a relevant mining tenement.

    The conditions of this environmental authority are in force until a surrender of the authority is accepted pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1994. The conditions apply unless an amendment is approved pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1994. ry

    The environmental authority holder is to give the administering authority a financial assurance in the amount and form and at a time required by the administering authority.

    The environmental authority holder must comply with each of the Standard Environmental Conditions contained in the Code of Environmental Compliance for Mining Lease Projects (January 2001).

    Conditions H1 to:H4 are additional conditions under section 180 of the Act. If there is any inconsistency between a Standard Environmental Condition referred to in Condition G4 and an additional condition, then the additional condition prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.     The environmental authority holder must comply with the conditions and requirements of the Patmer Goldfield Reserve Management Guidelines published by the Joint Trustees of the Reserve.

    Within a period of five (5) months from the date of grant of a mining lease to which this authority applies (or such longer period as permitted by condition of the mining lease), the environmental authority holder must arrange for a Cultural Heritage Study as required by the Palmer Goldfield Reserve Management Guidelines to be carried out on the area of the lease and to lodge copies of the Study with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Natural Resources and Mines.

    The environmental authority holder must not conduct any mining operations on the relevant mining lease area until the Cultural Heritage Study has been assessed.
