    The environmental authority holder must not carry out any mining activities in a category A environmentally sensitive area or a category B environmentally sensitive area.

    Where there is evidence of disturbance or impact to a Category A environmentally sensitive area or Category B environmentally sensitive area as a result of the mining activity, the Site Manager is to: a) notify the administering authority within 24 hours of becoming aware of the disturbance or impact; and b) implement corrective actions in consultation with the administering authority.

    By 14 July 2020, the environmental authority holder must provide the administering authority with a map of the disturbance area within the bounds of ML1211, which includes a buffer of at least 5 metres from the westerly boundary of ML1211.

    Prior to commencing extraction on ML1211, the environmental authority holder must construct groundwater reference bores and establish standing water level, reported as the depth in metres, accurate to 0.01 metres

    While undertaking extraction activities, the environmental authority holder must undertake monthly groundwater monitoring of the standing water level in each of the groundwater reference bores. Permit Environmental authority EPSLO0726913

    Where groundwater monitoring results indicate that standing water levels vary more than average seasonal fluctuations the environmental authority hold must undertake an investigation.

    The environmental authority holder must provide the administering authority with the results of the investigation required by condition G9 (including an analysis and interpretation of the monitoring results) within 10 business days of completion of the investigation.
