Drilling or seismic grid a) Spacing of gridlines within the ERE and 500 m buffer may only be undertaken at no less than 500 m. b) Spacing may be reduced to 250 m at no more than 50 specified points.

Drill sites a) The operational area of the drill site within the ERE and 500 m buffer must not exceed 1000 m2. b) Drill holes within the ERE are limited to less than 250 mm in diameter. c) The construction of sumps within the ERE and the buffer must not exceed 10 m2. d) Topsoil stripping within the ERE and 500 m buffer is limited to the sump area of 10 m2. e) The environmental authority holder must minimise disturbance within the ERE and 500 m buffer and avoid clearing mature trees.

Tracks a) Existing access and fence line tracks must be used wherever possible. Any new tracks are to be constructed by linking natural cleared or disturbed areas. b) Constructed tracks must be less than 5 m in width. Permit Environmental authority EPPR00497713 c) Track construction involving blade clearing of established ground water cover vegetation and/or clearing of mature trees is to be minimised. d) All new tracks are to be recorded with GPS and records kept of their location and made available to administrating authority on request.

Other land disturbance a) Exploration camps must not be established within the ERE and 500 m buffer. b) Exploration within the ERE and 500 m buffer must not involve costeaning or bulk sampling activities. Applicants should note that where a term is not defined, the definition in the Environmental Protection Act 1994, its regulations or environmental protection policies must be used. If a word remains undefined it has its ordinary meaning. "authority" means environmental authority (mining activities) under the Environmental Protection Act 1994. "environmental" authority holder" means the holder of this environmental authority. "ERE" means endangered regional ecosystem.
